for PIH- you need a tyrosinase inhibitor because dark spots = excess melanin. tyrosinase is a key conversion factor to melanin production in the skin so suppress excess melanin production, you minimize your dark spots for PIE- you need to reduce inflammation both topically and internally, with anti-inflammatory skincare + an anti-inflammatory lifestyle and diet for both PIE and PIH- you need to be very diligent about sunscreen 🗣️ two finger lengths every. single. day. for your face, neck and years. two finger lengths is what is needed to get labeled protection so if you aren’t using that much, you aren’t getting the SPF 50 or SPF 30 coverage your bottle is advertising. if you have a SPF 50 but you only use 1 finger length, you’re getting closer to SPF 25 protection because you aren’t using the appropriate amount to get that labeled protection so pls use more and yes you need to wear spf in the winter and when you are indoors. a lot of you aren’t wearing enough sunscreen and are wondering why your PIE or PIH is taking so long to fade. this is the single most important tip I can give you
