As I enter my third trimester I have been reflecting on the last 7 months of my pregnancy and how much my focus has changed. I want to answer some questions I’ve gotten frequently to help others out there. “Were you scared to get pregnant and see your body change” Of course I was. But the second I got pregnant my mindset shifted. I was so grateful to be pregnant as I know so many women out there struggle. I made a decision that I would try my best to keep my habits I had built over the last 4 years and be the strongest version of me mentally and physically for me and this baby. I know eventually I can get my body back. But my biggest concern right now is growing this baby. 🤎 “How have you been able to lift and workout/ how have they changed?” Let me tell you, this probably has been the hardest thing for me as I have felt so unlike myself! My workouts have definitely changed. I’m only able to really lift 3 to 4 days now that I’m entering my third trimester. There’s a lot of different pains, and things are starting to feel very uncomfortable. So I show up each morning how I can. Whether it’s a walk, stretch, deep core work or a 30-40 minute lift. I keep reminding myself this is temporary and I’m grateful I’m able to do something ✨ I’ve been doing my set the tone challenge workouts and have been adjusting every workout where I need to 🫶🏽 do not compare your pregnancy to others because one thing I’ve learned is so many of us are different! I definitely thought I was going to be one who was running marathons and working out six days a week and boy was I wrong. But I’ve been able to do what I CAN. And that’s what matters. 🤎 “Are you overwhelmed with how you’ll handle motherhood and balancing your old routines?” Absolutely. As this is my first child, I have no idea what motherhood is going to look like for me! I am preparing that the first couple months are going to be extremely overwhelming and hard. But I am so lucky to have a husband, and family around me who supports me and who gives me the best help! As someone who maybe doesn’t… I would say just take it one day at a time! I’m planning doing that with him 🤎 #B#BeforeAndAfterT#TransformationM#MuscleL#LeanMuscleP#PregnantP#PregnancyJourneyN#NewMomF#FitnessF#FitnessJourneyV#ViralT#TrendingR#Relatable
