I don’t do this as often as I should but when I do get around to it my hair LOVES it! Why do a hot oil treatment? Because it gets the oil and all its nutrients inside the hair shaft. This is important for sooo many reasons! 🌱 it strengthens the hair shaft to prevent breakage 🌱 it moisturizes your hair beyond the surface level 🌱 it makes your hair more elastic which also prevents breakage. It’s also excellent for your scalp health because the warmth from the oil can: 🌱 promotes hair growth 🌱 eliminates dandruff 🌱 prevents dryness. IMPORTANT TO NOTE: - you can use any oil or butter. You do not have to add herbs to it. If you want to jazz it up like I did great, but not necessary. - do this to your own capacity! If that looks like once a month, you’re rocking it! If that’s every other month, perfect! If it’s once a quarter or twice a year all good! Consistency will produce faster results. - works on permed hair, natural hair, dreads, fine hair, kinky hair, etc! If you have hair, it works for you! Ingredients: Shea butter 3 tbs Rosemary 1 tbs Hibiscus Directions: 1. Slowly melt she’s butter on low heat or double boil. 2. As it’s melting, add 3 tbs of Rosemary and 1 tbs of hibiscus. 3. Stir the mixture until it’s about 130 degrees. 4. Once it reaches temperature let it cool down, then strain into a container. 5. Once its strained it ready to use. Should last a few months.
