Replying to @Ginger Zepeda I experienced a rare aneurysm in my uterus/delayed post partum hemorrhage and nearly passed away. This was two and a half months ago. I have to tell the story as if it didn’t happen to me, like it’s someone else’s story, because I’m still processing. Very long story short, here you go! I’m happy to answer any questions you guys have about this - it actually helps me process my trauma when I talk about it 🩷 • #neardeathexperences #processingtrauma #medicaltrauma #postpartum #postpartumhemorrhage #aneurysm #aneurysmsurvivor
Replying to @Gina-in-the-oc Yes! A hysterectomy would definitely work, but they were trying to preserve my fertility, since I do want more babies. At least I know that in the future, if this happens again and I start to crash, worst case scenario is I’ll be saved by having an emergency hysterectomy. • #neardeathexperences #processingtrauma #medicaltrauma #postpartum #postpartumhemorrhage
Replying to @Donna Shubert Kane The answer is honestly that I just don’t know, and neither do the drs. With any of my subsequent pregnancies, I can’t just go and get pregnant. We will have to work with our Dr to kind of plan the pregnancy, having uterine scans and ultrasounds before I get pregnant, to make sure everything looks good. They’ll also be considered high risk, so that means more scans and appointments. They will also be scheduled c-sections, with blood on standby, ready to go. But also, it may not happen again! Who knows.. • #neardeathexperences #processingtrauma #medicaltrauma #postpartum #postpartumhemorrhage
