Replying to @☆ .aljerboa. ☆ How to protect yourself in the event that a client tries to cancel a project that you’ve started to work on. You should always have some sort of contract, written agreement so that both parties understand whats expected from one another. In my contracts I include a cancellation policy that states that if a client cancels mid project, I will be compensated for whatever work has been rendered up until that point. I also take payments half up front and half upon completion, or some other similar payment structure. This is another way to ensure you are getting paid for work you’ve done. A week of outfits for me as a professional illustrator/cartoonist. There’s only five outfits bcz ya girl tries to be in pajamas as much as possible.
