Why does no one want us? ☹ We’ve been in the shelter for months and keep watching everyone pass us by. All we want is a safe and loving home to call our own. We don’t understand how we ended up in these glass boxes 🥺💔 🙏 Mia – I am six years old and over 100 days ago I was left in a carrier abandoned with my brother and sister outside of the shelter. They were more outgoing that me and got adopted. I used to be shy but thanks to all the humans at the shelter, I am a loving and social kitty now. I’ve been through so much, I wish someone would choose me. Duchess – I am only 9 months old and have been in the shelter for over 100 days. I don’t know why I am growing up here. I am sweet but independent and I love human attention and getting petted. I will roll on my back and play when I am happy. I am adventurous and like to explore my new surroundings. Please give me a chance! Rio – I am growing old in this shelter at 7 years old and FIV positive. Because of this, I feel like people just walk right by me and I think I am forgotten. I am loving and quiet and sweet and really just want someone to cuddle with. Just because I am FIV + does not mean I will live a short life, but this virus can spread to other kitties if we get into a fight. I am vulnerable and in need of a loving and caring home. Could that be you? Sweetums – I am also FIV + and feel like everyone passes me by for the other cats and kittens because they’re scared that I am not healthy. I’m only 8 months old and have so much life to live, but I am stuck in this glass box. I love affection and to be petted. I will make biscuits until my bed is comfortable enough to lay in. I will do anything for treats and have so much love to give. If you want to play, I am happy to, although I really prefer cuddling. If you are unable to adopt, please share their post. Their forever families are out there somewhere ❤️ To meet one of the fabulous felines at the Humane Society of Broward County, complete the pre-adoption application at www.humanebroward.com and then stop by. The shelter opens daily at 11:00 a.m. and is located at 2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderdale. If you have questions call 954-989-3977 ext. 6 ❤️
