I had 1 MILLION reasons to quit... Why didn't I quit? What kept me going through the toughest time in my life? I gave myself no other choice but to keep going. I knew if I gave up on myself, it was over.... Sometimes, the choices that we make in life lead us down a long bumpy path that leads to rock bottom....Yes, I hit rock bottom.. I remember having discussions with myself in rehab. " Zac, you are the ONLY one that can better this situation, no one else." I had to remap my mind to become unstoppable and not go to a dark depressed state. Did I struggle? Yes , I sure did.. Did I want to quit? Yes, I sure did. Let me tell you my "secret". I played this recovery like a game. I would set small goals in my mind and work to achieve those goals. Then, I would set bigger goals and work to achieve those goals. I worked in silence. I had a plan and was going to execute it no matter how long or how much work it was going to take. I did therapy 8 to 10 hours a day and still work out daily.
