Worried about fabric shifting while quilting on a sit-down machine? Let’s talk about it! 🤔✨ This is a great question! I’ve designed all of my classes and videos so that anyone—on any machine—can quilt along with me! The key is making sure your machine lets you drop the feed dogs and move the fabric freely. In my Beginner’s Guide to Free-Motion Quilting, we start with the basics—batting, thread, and basting—so you’ll feel totally prepared before you even start stitching! As for temporary spray adhesives like 505, if it’s not gunking up your machine, go for it! But there are other great options too, like thread basting, pin basting, and even fusible battings designed specifically for this. No matter what method you choose, we all start somewhere—and I’d love to help you on your quilting journey! 💕 Check out Beginner’s Guide to Free-Motion Quilting today! 🎉 Beginner's Guide to Free-Motion Quilting – Piece N Quilt www.piecenquilt.com
