This isn’t due to a lack of content; rather, I’ve significantly narrowed my focus. Over a decade ago, when I first entered the hair industry, I aspired to provide every possible hair service. I even dubbed myself the “Queen of All Trades,” experimenting with every style I could imagine. However, I soon realized that being a “Jack of All Trades” means being skilled in many areas but not necessarily excelling in any one of them. Understanding this prompted me to specialize in what I truly love.. healthy hair and quality extensions that promote growth. On the backend, I still create custom wigs for a select few clients which allows me to experiment with hair color like I used to with natural hair. When I made the tough decision to stop offering custom coloring for my clients’ natural hair, the change wasn’t well-received at first, but I knew it was for the best.
