It is #FerrariFriday and we are in the race shop continuing the major service on our 1972 Ferrari Dino 246GT! Today it is time to install the new clutch assembly and bell housing. The clutch assembly is broken up into 2 different parts — you have what’s called the clutch disk and that goes underneath the pressure plate. We must use an alignment tool to ensure the clutch plate is positioned properly, otherwise we would not be able to install the input shaft and bell housing assembly correctly. Now that the clutch assembly has been installed we are one step closer to having our vintage Dino back on the road!
