Sweet potato, cauliflower, turkey sausage bake 🍠 Too good not to share. Takes a bit of prep but definitely worth it IMO Notes: can sub butternut squash for the sweet potatoes. Can use chicken sausage in place of the turkey sausage, just remove from casing. Use whatever milk you like
#youdoyou will affect macros naturally 💁🏻♀️ I created a recipe in @Cronometer which makes it easy to pick and the macros adjust for me. Anyways, here you go. Make it and tell me how much you love it 👌 Ingredients: -530g (~2) sweet potatoes, chopped -530g (1 head) cauliflower, chopped -80g (1 large) shallot, chopped 👉🏻mix in 9x13 baking dish with 1 tsp Italian seasoning and S&P to taste. I used cooking spray but you can use 1 TBS olive oil. Bake at 425 for 30 minutes. While that’s cooking… -446g (1lb) ground turkey breast -446g (1lb) turkey sausage (can sub chicken sausage removed from casing) -1/2 cup white wine or stock -50g (1/2 cup) flour -3 garlic cloves, chopped -2 TBS fresh sage, chopped (can use dried, if only use a couple teaspoons if so) -1.5 cups milk (unsweetened almond milk here) -50g (1/2 cup) grated Parmesan cheese + 15g to sprinkle on top. 👉🏻brown meat, drain grease if necessary. Add wine or stock and cook down for 3 minutes. Add flour, garlic and sage. Add milk and simmer until thickened, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and add 50g grated Parmesan. Mix sausage mixture into baking dish with cooked veggies. Sprinkle with 15g Parmesan and bake at 350 for 20 more minutes. Entire recipe: 235g Protein 185g carbs 78g fat I had a 325g serving for: 377 cals (36P/28C/12F) Hope everyone had a great weekend 😃
