A while back, I had an experience with two people in my life where our dynamic became really challenging. I felt like their version of eventsâhow they saw me, my intentions, and my actionsâbegan to overshadow my truth. They had their own perspective, and while I can respect that, it was painful because it didnât align with how I saw myself or the situation. For a long time, I found myself trying to explain, justify, and even question myselfâwondering if I was really the person they made me out to be. It was exhausting, and honestly, it felt like I was handing over my power to their story. But through reflection and growth, I realized this: their perspective doesnât define me. Just because someone sees you a certain way doesnât mean itâs the full truthâor your truth. Iâve chosen to release the need for their validation and focus instead on standing firmly in my own story. I share this because I know many of you might feel similarlyâmaybe someone has misinterpreted your intentions, judged you unfairly, or held onto a version of you that no longer exists. If that resonates, I want you to know youâre not alone, and you can reclaim your narrative. Thatâs part of what I talked about in this weekâs podcast episode, and Iâd love for you to give it a listen. Itâs called For MeâŚEpisode 4, and I dive deeper into reclaiming your truth, navigating these kinds of relationships, and letting go of the weight of other peopleâs stories. Listen or watch at my link in bio! Let me know if it resonates or sparks anything for youâIâd love to hear your thoughts! Hereâs to owning our stories, together. đŞâ¨
