I live in Pasadena, 10 blocks from the fireline in Altadena. Most of you around the country don’t know about Altadena - it’s not like Beverly Hills, the Palisades, or Malibu. Its history starts with an abolitionist, continues through redlining and Civil Rights, and is now threatened by disaster and displacement.
