Butter toffee Cookie Recipe: Ingredients- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, lightly browned and cooled 1 cup brown sugar, packed 1/3 cup granulated sugar 1 egg and 1 egg yolk, room temperature 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 1 teaspoon sea salt 1 3/4 cup flour 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 8 ounce chocolate chips 1/2 cup toffee, (i used heath) Steps- 1. In a saucepan, brown your butter. Allow it to cool before next step 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine cooled browned butter, white sugar, brown sugar, egg, egg yolk, and vanilla. Mix well! 3. Add in dry ingredients: flour, baking soda and salt. 4. Carefully fold in chocolate chips and toffee. 5. Put dough in fridge for at least 1 hour to fully chill. 6. Once ready to bake cookies, preheat oven to 350° and place ounce cookie balls or squares on a cookie sheet 2 inches apart. 7. Bake for 12 minutes until edges are crusty but center is still ooey gooey 🤤 8. Allow cookies to chill for a lil bit before enjoying
