honestly the hardest part of motherhood without a doubt š„¹ I didnāt think Iād break , but girl I totally did. Many people (including me before this happened) donāt know how the common cold can affect newborns, so Iām posting to raise awareness. My little guy had trouble breathing with RSV / Rhinovirus and it was the hardest thing Iāve ever had to see. He had coughing episodes where he couldnāt catch his breath, he turned blue, he had chest retractions, nasal flaring and was grunting with each breath. He was able to maintain good oxygen, but I know other babies donāt come out of this and it breaks my heart. I know some germs are unavoidable but do what you can to stock the spread!!
