If your strength and conditioning doesn’t match your skill you are leaving your potential on the table. I want the athletes who truly care about going to the next level and playing at their best to have the best possible chance at making that happen. That’s why I’ve created an entire year of training for rugby athletes. From off-season, pre-season, to in-season I got you covered. This is how the top level rugby teams and strength and conditioning coaches do it and you should have access to the same level of training even if your team doesn’t. If you are ready to level up your training it’s time to join the peak performance program. I’ll shoot you a message when you join and help you get started training hard and dominating the pitch #rugby #rugbytraining #rugbyworkout #strengthandconditioning #athlete #explosivetraining

This lower body power session is all about maximizing explosiveness using power complexes, contrast sets, and heavy carries to develop speed, strength, and stability—essential for dominating on the rugby field. 🚀🏉 Here’s the breakdown: 🔸 Power Complex: – Overcoming Isometric Sprinter Push paired with – Single Leg Broad Jump & – 10-Yard Sprint → Post-activation potentiation for max power output. 🔸 Contrast Set 1: – Heavy Box Squat paired with – 1-Step Box Jump → Builds raw leg strength and converts it into explosive power. 🔸 Contrast Set 2: – Heavy Single-Leg RDL paired with – Straight Leg Bounds → Develops unilateral strength, balance, and horizontal power for sprints. 🔸 Core Finisher: – Heavy Front Rack Carry → Reinforces core strength and stability, critical for sprint mechanics and on-field collisions. This is just one session from our Rugby Speed & Power program, part of a year-long strength and conditioning plan built to take your rugby performance to the next level. 💪⚡️ 👉 Ready to elevate your game? You are only as strong as your weakest link. Your ankle is where all the force your can create has to transfer through into the ground. Athletes play and produce force with their heels off the ground so use some of the exercises I show in this video and build stronger more resilient ankles. Stronger muscles recover from injury faster and help prevent them. #anklestability #anklestrength #rugby #scrum #rugbytraining
