Although I was only 19 here and have no younger siblings, I have grown up around little children (nieces, nephews) This day, I truly felt there was something wrong with Russell and Eve. I think that’s why I tried so hard to make them laugh / feel safe. Joking with them and trying to keep eve specifically from wondering too far down the wave of people by herself. It surprised me seeing eve on her own around a huge crowd of people, Ruby was far away at most points. I guided her to the pond, bc it was a spot that could be easily seen by Ruby/the family from the top of the line vs the fence area where she was at. I never expected what happened to happen, but I did have a feeling this would be the last time I’d ever see them. But I’m glad I was able to do what little I did this day to help keep Eve safe 🩷 & make Russell smile. (I don’t feel the need to blur their faces as the whole reason for doing so is to keep their current identities private, and these videos were 5 years ago. #rubyfranke #8passengers #kevinfranke #evefranke #russellfranke #chadfranke #thehouseofmymother
