With my big brother love you for everything @Russell Peters . I had many friends in my life, I love my friends. From 7th grade to 9th grade my friends @sankarguntupalli and @karavadisanjay we were a team we made fun of everything and everybody didn’t matter who they are, or what it is, we laughed. Then I moved to America, My first day in America after jet lag, I watched Jay Leno. Just a guy with mic making jokes. I loved it. True Freedom comes from comedy. I wished I am back in India, I wished I could take these new learnings to my friends. But here in this foreign land with a different language, alone, comedy seemed so far away. Then after few years at #osu @russellpeters came to my college, I went to the show because my friends were producing the show. First it was @funnyindian , he is funny I was like wow a brown dude being funny on stage with a mixed audience. Super cool. Then comes #russellpeters an entire arena of mixed audience in splits. He broke every barrier I thought there was. I had a wishful thought, what if one day I do comedy and open for him. Eventually I started doing comedy, one day I went to see him @stressfactory and then gotta meet him after show @pittsburghimprov he let me do a guest spot. Then he let me open for him then he took me on his world tour. I opened for him in 7 countries in front of crowds as big as 11000. I was nervous on my first international show in Japan. Few thousand people wearing masks, probably not fluent in English and here I am about to walk up to them cold and unleash my Desi accent on them. What did I get myself into 🤦🏽. Then there was a voice behind my ear, my brother #russellpeters in my accent ‘ you are not here because you are my brother or I love you you are here because I know you are good at making people laugh. Rest is history and I got me not one big brother but two @claytonpeters64 . Icing on the cake is when my friends Shankar and Sanjay came to see me open for Russell in #kaulalumpur I introduced them to Russell, we got photos with him. We had a blast, picked up where we left off. I always wished I have a big brother, someone just to give me a hint, now I have two Russell and @claytonpeters64
