Dogs like Bruce keep me up at night. It didn’t take long for him to decline in this environment. I’m the only one who is comfortable walking him so he only gets out a few times a week. We took a longer walk today, spent a longer time in the quiet room and I gave him a frozen enrichment to find ways I can attenpt to slow down the decline. It keeps me up at night wondering if I’m being selfish keeping him here. Without intervention from a behaviorist & a foster home, it’s inhumane to keep him here. Everytime I think I’m at peace with that, I see glimpses of the dog I know he truly is… and I’m not ready to give up. Please help Bruce find a foster home.
