Cups with active movements This is when you perform specific movements, stretches or exercises while the cups are on your body. Some of the benefits from it are Improved Blood Circulation: The suction from the cups can help draw blood to the surface of the skin, and when combined with movement, it promotes even greater circulation throughout the body. Enhanced Flexibility and Range of Motion: The movement helps to release tension in the fascia, allowing for improved flexibility and a greater range of motion, especially when applied to tight or “stuck” areas. Reduced Muscle Tension: By combining cupping with movement, the muscle tissue can be mobilized, which helps to break up muscle knots, release adhesions, and reduce overall tightness. Better Fascia Release: Cupping targets the fascia (the connective tissue around muscles), and when the body moves during the session, it helps further stretch and release restrictions in the fascia, promoting better glide of the tissues. 1. Heated scraper (can also be with passive and active movements) The heated scraper enhances traditional scraping by incorporating heat to improve the overall effectiveness. Here are some of the benefits of using a heated scraper in this modality: Improved Circulation: The heat helps dilate blood vessels and increase blood flow to the specific area, which supports faster healing, reduces stiffness, and improves overall circulation to muscles and tissues. Enhanced Tissue Mobility: Heated scraping can increase the pliability of tissues allowing for a deeper and more effective release of tightness, adhesions, or scar tissue. This can help restore the glide fascia needs to function well. Stress Relief and Relaxation: The combination of heat and scraping therapy can have a calming effect on the nervous system, promoting overall relaxation and reducing stress. It’s especially effective for people dealing with tension-related tightness. Also if you have ever had scraping you know it’s not always delightful! The heat really helps easy that!
