Goodbye to the worst year of my life. If you know me or have followed closely then you know I suffered a world-upending loss this year. There has been (and will be) so much grief. January - every year it’s a hard reset on my creative energy. After the holidays I’m so drained and eager to start fresh. However, I often forget about the importance of rest. guilt free rest. The type of rest where I don’t feel guilty that I’m not “being productive”. I unintentionally had that this week after getting hit by the flu. Turns out that rotting is important too.
