Do you watch the Rose Parade every year? I have loved it ever since I was a kid, so it was a dream come true to be able to see the @Wicked Movie float up close and in production!! I am a HUGE fan of Wicked (of course!) so it was incredible to get to see how the talented designers at Phoenix Decorating Company conceptualized this magical float for the 136th Rose Parade. The float is called "Defying Gravity", which is a perfect title for the larger-than-life depictions of Elphaba and Glinda, poised on either side of the Emerald City, commemorating their profound friendship as they journey to the magnificent land of Oz. And guess what?! Not only will you get to see the motion activated Elphaba and the sparkling bubbles of Glinda on New Years Day, but starting December 31st you can watch the movie AT HOME, available exclusively on Digital platforms to purchase or rent. Now that is a wish come true for everyone!
