I was curious what Korean dishes are eaten during Seollal (Lunar New Year), so I asked my friend, @Mark Lee of @Rokstar Chicken, what to order at New Wonjo (📍23 West 32nd St, New York, NY). The spread I tried and drew were tteoguk (rice cake soup), haemul-pajeon (seafood pancake), japchae, mandu, and assorted banchan. I was unfortunately unable to order galbi-jjim that day, but i included it in my drawing as well. this past year, last month we cruised for the first time as a family with our siblings and families and none of us have celebrated our personal Christmases yet lol. we did do nye and of course we had a lovely Christmas in Belize but we haven't opened a single gift since returning home.Ports we docked and explored was Cozumel, Rotan, Belize City, Costa Maya. We plan to do gift opening next week and then I am going to reclaim my house and fill it with lots of love themed decor. it is so odd my children are the one who suggested it, but I guess they aren't in a hurry lol. We are all excited for Valentines day.
