The biggest conundrum of this whole debacle was trying to take tiny away so he wouldn’t mess with it anymore while still keeping an eye on the snake-I was worried that if the snake went out out of my sight, tiny would keep hunting him until he inevitably got him 😭 I can’t even explain the panic I felt when I realized he had a snake-at most I thought maybe he had a palmetto bug; tiny was making the craziest chirping noises, which is why I had started recording. Florida is home to a couple different types of venomous snakes, and I couldn’t make out which kind this one was at first-also in my defense of this messy corner, this is where all the random stuff that shows up in the mail goes. It’s the clutter corner. Even though tiny is a savannah cat; I still had always assumed that he would have some sort of fear of snakes but I guess not. This was back in September, and the other night I saw a corn snake that looks suspiciously like this one hanging around my front door-I’m pretty sure it was the same one and he didn’t learn his lesson the first time 😂 have any of your cats ever encountered a snake?
