Love shell cleaning. Now on to making bangles.🤍✨ #hawaiitiktok #shellcleaning #maui #satisfyingvideo What you need • Muriatic acid (Home Depot was the cheapest) • Water • 2 quart size containers (Home depot as well) • Gloves (Any kind) • Something to grab the shell and dip it with. (Pliers, tongs, etc) • Can’t forget your shells! In 1 container mix acid and water together like about 75% water to 25% acid ratio. In the 2 container use only water. Depending on the size of the shell and how much gunk is on the shell you may have to do a couple rounds. Dip 1 shell at a time in the acid with your tool of choice for 15-20 seconds at a time then immediately put it in water. After that lay it out to dry and repeat process with all of your shells. When all shells are clean to your liking give them a nice shine using any mineral oil commonly used is baby oil. Then you got yourself a nice collection of shells😊
