When Basil and Will started the farm, they had saved up everything they had. They had a small farm of chickens and a llama named Tina, just a greenhouse of vegetables and a dream. Basil soon realized the money was in roses and flowers and before they knew it they were on their way to the big farm! Not a day after Basil married his wife, the popular Ceceila Kang, Willow found herself in the storm. Ceilia had said her feet hurt, that she may be pregnant with Basil and hers first child, not knowing at the time it was twins like them. With her love of animals and her lengthy relationship with Tina the llama she ran into the storm to feed her and the new brown cow Bessy, she had to shoo the chickens in the coops and replace the feed! Tina was miserable at the new farm with the new lady of the house and was close to running off, Willow couldn’t let that happen. In nothing but her Welly boots and her sweater set, she dared the storm to save her animals. The farm needed Tina, the wool alone was keeping food on the table! But alas the lightning didn’t strike her just once, but twice. Once near Tina and once 3 feet away from the door to get inside! Basil was beside himself with grief. Ceceila wasn’t the best at helping him through his pain, for she had never been a twin. She busied herself with the twin girls, Rosemary and Cordelia. Doing her best to make sure Basil had enough time alone to mourn. Slowing he came back to himself, throwing himself into farm work and taking on new plants as his skills easily allowed. Reading a book his old bat Agnes Crumplebottom threw at his head in the local pub, he realized the old slag was probably the only one he knew that understood the pain of death. The whole town knew of Agnes and her husbands demise, both of them. The book landed open on the pub table “ambrosia” at the top of the page. Thus sparked an idea, he would bring Willow back if it was the last thing he did. Making sure she was buried on the property outside of her cows pen, he sat by her grave for days, talking and crying about how he was going to do the impossible for his twin!! Now three years later he was still with the love of his life, the twins, and his newest addition Hestia( created in the cow pen if we’re being honest) Basil had Aquired more than just the ingredients. Amassing wealth in the millions for his family, he had pledged to give his sister her fair share when she was brought back. Willows sweat equity is what made it possible to get the farm in the first place. Basil went to the kitchen to cook the dish that would end his suffering, to heal his heart, and bring back the womb mate to where she belonged. Cooking the dish perfectly he sat it in the garden, at the table between the lemon trees. Sitting down, Willows restless spirit nodded at her twin as she took the first bite, and as fast as death was, so was being reborn.
