Easy Sourdough Discard Pizza🍕 This pizza is the perfect way to use up sourdough discard/starter—no kneading, no dishes, just pure deliciousness! Ingredients: •Sourdough discard •Avocado or olive oil spray •Salt •Pizza sauce •Mozzarella cheese •Toppings of choice (I used pepperoni and chicken sausage) •Fresh basil (for garnish) Instructions: 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F, placing a cast-iron skillet inside to heat. 2. Once preheated, carefully remove the skillet and spray with avocado/olive oil spray. 3. Pour in the sourdough discard, spreading it evenly to cover the pan. (The more you add, the thicker your crust!) I added a little extra around the edges for a thicker crust. 4. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt. 5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, depending on your desired crispiness. (I go for 20 minutes for an extra crispy crust.) 6. Remove from the oven and add your sauce, cheese, and toppings. I added mozzarella, pepperoni, AppleGate chicken sausage. 7. Bake for another 5-6 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. 8. Top with fresh basil, slice, and enjoy every BITE❕
