Sirui Anamorphic Prime (with AF) 🎥 This is the Sirui 40mm T1.8 APSC anamorphic lens - and it has autofocus. I decided to go with the neutral flare option. For now, this is just an asmr unboxing, but I’m super excited to start shooting with this. Since it does have autofocus, I’m most excited to use this on a gimbal. It should also lend itself to stills pretty well! Although this is designed for S35 sensors, I’ve found that it covers the entire frame on my 16x9 full frame cameras (a7iv, a7c, etc) 🤔…kind of interesting - gotta check this out further! Initial impression is that the build quality is excellent. It’s a near full-metal build (including the focus and aperture rings). The aperture ring is also de-clickable and very smooth. That said, I can’t comment on the autofocus performance just yet (I need to test it a lot more) but I can say it is quite loud!
