I'm back with a super long tutorial on how to make a simple gathered skirt with a waistband and pockets! it's a great wardrobe staple perfect for the renfaire, hobbits, cottagecore, and the like! Very versatile and can be made with lots of different fabrics or given trim or lace to fit lots of styles. I definitely don't expect any casual viewer to watch this whole thing. It's for people to save and come back to later if they want to give it a try ❤️ The one I'm making is 6 yards of 56 inch wide medium weight linen in the color medieval blue from fabric-store.com You can definitely use less yardage just make sure you check your gather ratios to make sure you will get your desired look. For a pocket pattern you can find lots of easily printable ones for free just pick one you like with a flat top.
