Bad Moon is back from break! Thank you so much to everyone who shopped our big ass saIe—we sold almost a third of our website inventory 🥲 Half of the saIe orders have been shipped, with the rest scheduled to ship by Wednesday! Shout out to Kev for walking to the post office looking like a Tetris piece—you’re the best 🥰 Over my break I’ve taken time to reflect on what’s next for Bad Moon, and there will be some changes you will notice. Unfortunately my condition has progressed to the point where I am having too difficult of a time modeling every single piece for my shop. I’m spending too much of my energy and spoons recovering from painful flare ups induced by modeling 50+ pieces in a week. I feel like it has impacted the quality of my content and more importantly, my life. So, I have invested in a mannequin (plus sized of course!) to take my website photos moving forward. I know many of my customers prefer to see all clothes modeled on a person, but the reality is that as someone living with MCAS and pre-RA, it’s just no longer an option for me. I am hoping this change will preserve enough of my energy to get back to making upcycled pieces, chain belts, and other creative projects that I’ve been dreaming up for years. I’m also hoping it will help improve my condition long term 🤞🏻 I will still be modeling a few pieces depending on how I’m feeling, and I’ll always make fashion and outfit content, but I just won’t be modeling every single piece for my website anymore. Here’s to slowing down in 2025. More resting in 2025. More creativity in 2025. More community in 2025.
