#Repost @_howlowcanyouslow ・・・ Need something new? This is recipe 11 in my #SuperBowl series.  Never eat boring wings again with these smoked Honey Lime chicken wings.  This recipe layers the flavor through a marinade, a finishing sauce and adding smoke two separate ways- as part of the cook and again to give a quick char to the edges of the wings. Recipe: - 2 lbs. chicken wings, segmented - ¼ C lime juice - 3 T honey - 2 T minced garlic - 2 T olive oil - 2 T cilantro - 1 t paprika - 1 t cumin - Salt & Pepper For the honey-lime sauce: - 2 T lime juice - 1 T honey - 1 T cilantro, chopped Prep your wings by segmenting into the Wingette & Drumette. Remove any remaining feathers if needed. Mix all marinade ingredients together and mix until well incorporated. Add wing segments into a Ziplock bag and pour in marinade. Refrigerate for 2-4 hours. Prepare your smoker to 250F with some @jealousdevilcharcoal Max briquettes. Add a fist sized piece of cherry wood. Smoke until the chicken hits 160F internal temperature, flipping once. To add an extra hit of smoke flavor, fill a chimney with more cherry chunks and burn to coals. Add these to your grill and then char the wings lightly on all sides. Finished wings should be at least 165F. Remove wings from grill and allow to rest for 10 minutes. Super Bowl series three! Garlic Parmesan chicken wings This is a super simple recipe, that is always sure to be a crowd favorite. Feel free to make it your own- my addition to the recipe is adding a bunch of lemon zest and a little lemon juice. The acid helps the other elements to pop and brightens up the earthy flavor that comes from the Parmesan. You could play around with other flavors you like, including MSG, hot sauce, honey or anything else! Brine: 1/2 gallon apple juice 1/2 cup kosher salt Chicken recipe: 20 chicken wings- split 1/2 cup #flabbyphoenixrub (link in bio) 2 sticks butter 1/2 bunch flat leaf parsley 2 heap T minced garlic 5 oz shredded Parmesan Zest of 2 lemons Juice 1 lemon Mix brine ingredients, add chicken and let it sit overnight in the fridge. Remove, wash gently and Pat dry. Preheat smoker to 275F and place on your favorite smoking wood. I like @jealousdevilcharcoal cherry blocks. Lightly season chicken wings with the Flabby Phoenix rub. Place on the smoker and cook until the wings hit an internal temp of 165F. Remove from the cooker and rest for 15 minutes. Mix all remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Are you Team Sauced Wings or Team No Sauce Wings?  I don’t think you can enjoy the Big Game without wings! I usually like to sauce up my wings but for parties, I’d do half half so everyone can enjoy. These smoked and fried wings add some smoke flavor before frying and come out super crispy and delicious. For these wings, I just salted them and tossed them in Kinder’s Buttery Buffalo Wing sauce which I picked up for sale from Costco.  Smoke the lightly seasoned wings at 250 degrees for an hour and then fry the wings in 375 degrees neutral oil for about 4 minutes until the wings are crispy and golden brown.   After frying the wings, toss the smoked and fried wings in your favorite sauce, or keep them plain and dip them in your favorite sauce or you plain.  No Limit Tip: If you plan on saucing up your wings, lightly season wings only. The sauce will be super flavorful.  Ingredients:
