Itā€™s sad to think this may be the last stupid hike for stupid mental health video I get the post on TikTok. This little trend first went viral on TikTok and then everywhere else. TikTok is where i first we t viral and I hope this isnā€™t the end but if it is itā€™s been a great run allā€¦ like always on these hikes I didnā€™t want to go, but Iā€™m glad I did. Going for a hike in the snow is my way of hitting pause on life and taking care of my mental health. Thereā€™s something about the quiet, the cold, and the way snow blankets everything that makes it easier to justā€¦ breathe. I used to avoid the snow, but now Iā€™m learning to embrace itā€”layer by layer. Hiking might not fix everything, but itā€™s a great tool to clear your head and get back to center. Sometimes, itā€™s the simple thingsā€”putting one foot in front of the other and finding peace in the process. Who else is a reluctant snow-lover? Let me know how you take care of your mental healthā€”especially in the colder months! šŸ“Bull Gap Trail near Mount Ashland, Oregon in the ancestral homelands of the Shasta and Takelma peoples who lived here for millennia & were displaced between 1851 and 1856.
