This last year of sobriety has cracked my whole life open. I spent time doing a lot of firsts, healing more of my inner child, and taking an active role in creating a home in my house. I welcomed another dog into my heart and spent the year watching him explore this beautiful world. what used to feel like a burden now feels like a blessing. it is an honor to have two pups that rely on me. to wake up every day and make their lives magical. it's an honor to answer the phone when friends call and be able to drop everything to be present for them. it's an honor to wash my house by hand. I aim to use my time and energy intentionally. I try not to spend it living in fear.
