Replying to @slugger I BELIEVE THIS SONG IS EXTREMELY RELEVANT IN THE TIMES WE ARE LIVING IN… When I hear this song, I picture a regular person praying and seeking comfort, as the world around them is in complete chaos. This song has a lot of biblical truths in it, and I believe it’s a conversation with God telling us that the answers to all that we seek, and pray for, are HERE to be found, but WE must learn how to quiet the noise outside and INSIDE ourselves to receive them. Who was today years old, when they REALLY heard the lyrics to “The Sound of Silence” by Simon & Garfunkel for the first time?
