Arroz a mi gusto For some reason, rice is a highly controversial dish. Everyone makes it their way and for some, their way is the only way. I believe we all make dishes we love to our taste. So whether you call this Mexican rice, Spanish rice, Tex-Mex rice, etc. I hope you enjoy it, I’m sending Love and Blessings from my kitchen to yours. Sauté, 1/4 onion, 1 small jalapeno cut down the middle and a small tomato in avocado oil for 3-4 minutes. Add 2 cups of jasmine rice, sautee for 1 minute and add the following seasoning: Salt (easy) Black Pepper 1 tsp Garlic powder 1 tsp Onion powder 1 tsp Chicken bouillon 1 1/2 tsp Sauté for 3-4 minutes total. Add 4 cups hot water, mix, add 1 packet of Tomato y Cilantro Sazon and 1/2 can of @elpatohotsauce Jalapeno sauce, mix. When it comes to a boil, turn the flame down to lowest setting, cover and set timer for 12 minutes. Once the twelve minutes are over, turn off the flame completely, leave covered (don’t touch it!!!!) and set timer for 15 minutes, the rice will continue to cook in its own steam. After 15 minutes, uncover, fluff with a fork y que rico!!!
