Make sure to SAVE this recipe for later ⬇️ 🥩 STEP 1: PROTEIN • Marinate your choice of protein with several tbsp of our BBH Soup Base • Beef (shank, filet mignon, tendon, etc.) • Pork (pork hock, cha lua or sausage, etc.) • Pigs blood 🍜 STEP 2: BROTH • Sauté 2 stalks of bruised lemongrass, 1-2 sliced shallots, chili or chili flakes • Add 1/2 jar of our BBH Soup Base and sauté on low heat • Add in the protein and sear for several minutes • Add 1 gallon of hot water - bring to boil, then simmer on low until protein is done (will vary- for shank we simmered 60-90 minutes) • Adjust/ add water to make sure it’s 1 gallon • Adjust broth to your taste: add additional soup base or other seasonings 🍽️ STEP 3: SERVE • Prepare thick vermicelli noodles (package instructions) • Serve with garnishes of your choice __
