What’s do your saturday’s look like as a boy mom of athletes? Let me know in the comments Two hours away. In the freezing cold. On a Saturday. For a 7v7 tryout. And guess what? I’d do it all again. Being a boy mom to athletes isn’t for the weak, Sis. From bundling up to sit in the cold (until the wind humbles you and sends you back to the car ) to watching them throw their book bags like they’re on somebody’s NFL team and starting arguments over sodas they didn’t even want, it’s chaotic, but it’s ours. Usually, it’s a tag-team effort with their dad, but life happened, and this weekend it was all me. And you know what? I HELD IT DOWN. Because when it comes to these boys and their dreams, we do what’s necessary. We drive the miles, we brave the weather, and we celebrate every small win (even if it’s just surviving the day without losing your sanity). Shoutout to all the boy moms holding it down for their athletes—cheering, chauffeuring, and making it happen so they can succeed. Y’all are the real MVPs.
