I went to the @Fantastique Collection by UJDA in New Jersey (and oh yes - Iāve heard everything) I got wisdom teeth surgery so I canāt make a full talking video about it right now BUT I will once I can talk! Long story short though, I would absolutely still go despite the hiccups. None of it inhibited my experience (we came SUPER early to the ball itself so we didnāt get stuck outside but I know people did for a bit. They eventually fixed it but thatās for sure distressing). I can do a full breakdown, I have no affiliation with the company at all but I loved it so much Iām already looking at tickets to another with them. Iām still on cloud 9 from the weekend and itās definitely something I would want the people I love (you guys) to experience if you can! However, there were hiccups that it sounds like they at are working on fixing for next time. Iām getting Fire Festivaled. To break it down: -Theyāve had over a year to plan this event -We paid $500 for this bookish, fantasy, ACOTAR themed event, not including flights and hotel -This is a sold out event with 1200 tickets sold, they keep running out of stuff and should have accounted for 1200 people -There was a cash bar but we were told it would be an open bar, and Iām not paying $11 for a cup of wine when I technically already paid for my alcohol this weekend -For all 1200 people that are supposed to be here, thereās only four people that work at this event company that are here and weāve barely even seen them -There also was supposed to be security and thatās where a portion of our $500 was supposed to go andā¦where? There is no security. -This effects the small businesses and vendors who came and PAID to be here to advertise for themselves because if youāre cheating people out of money, youāre not inclined to pay more money for stuff Anywaysā¦we will see how the Ball goes tonight.
