Expand for stop-motion tips🤳👇 This was my very first time trying stop-motion in my entire 3 years as a content creator🙈 The truth is, I’ve been avoiding trying it because I thought it’d be a LOT more frustrating than it ended up being (not that it wasn’t still frustrating, time consuming & hard🥲). But here’s what I learned👇 ✨ Unlike other types of content, I’d actually AVOID natural lighting for stop-motion next time because the sun can shift spots within SECONDS, which will be noticeable in each clip (as you can see in my video😅) 🤳 A sturdy tripod is 100% mandatory. I’d also use a Bluetooth remote to start/stop my camera next time to avoid accidentally bumping it. If your phone moves even a millimeter between stop-motion clips, it will be obvious. ⏰ Decide on a duration for each clip & stick to it. You want the cuts to feel very consistent in a stop-motion video. Each of my clips during the stop-motion parts are .2 secs long. What do you think of my final result?😅 & Do you think YOU will try stop-motion out for yourself? PS- if you want to learn EXACTLY how I film & edit my content (PLUS get bonus tutorials for cool edits like this one)..
