We are officially ready for this marathon 😅👟 @361USA thank you again for helping get Aaron and I a new pair of shoes before this race! We really do appreciate it 🤩👏🏼 The Surf City Marathon will be Aaron’s first official marathon and will be my second official marathon. This Week In Orange County 🍊Surf City Marathon @surfcitymarathon February 1st & 2nd This award-winning, Boston-Qualifying, course is considered one of the best courses in the country. Runners come from all over to experience this exhilarating run. The race starts along the Pacific Coast Highway and passes by the famous HB Pier! 🍊UVSA Tet Festival @tetfest Friday- Sunday, January 31st-2nd The large The largest Vietnamese New Year Festival in the nation. This year, the UVSA Tết Festival theme is “A Spring of Remembrance” or “Xuân Hoài Niệm” Over 50,000 people will attend the Tet Fest. Walk the Vietnamese cultural village, enjoy live entertainment, see the Miss Vietnam of Southern California pageant, enjoy festive games and rides, a variety of local food vendors, and a dazzling firecracker show celebrating the new year. Tickets are $9 each. 🍊Black History Parade & Unity Festival @downtownanaheim Saturday, February 1st Celebrate Black History Month at the Center Street Promenade from 9am-4pm. The Black History Parade & Unity Festival will include noted community members, elected officials, community groups, school and church units, singing and dancing squads, city service vehicles, and community members who have participated in the history of Orange County and surrounding areas. After the parade the Unity Festival will have interactive lessons on black history in the Youth Village, live music and dance entertainment, business connections and information, health information and screenings, activities for young people, college fair, food booths run by community groups and food trucks. 🍊Wildfire Relief Concert @biergartenhb Sunday, February 2nd Rock out at the Biergarten in Huntington Beach while supporting a good cause. 11am-8pm.
