First time trying stuffed cabbage! Do you call it Malfouf or Yakhana? #syria #syrianfood #arabicfood #homemadefood #arab #ArabTikTok #homecooked #comfortfood #arabfood We said both because I wasn’t sure which one was more commonly used 🤣. Let me know for next time because I’m definitely making this again—I LOVED it! If you asked me to choose between this and Yabrak… I honestly wouldn’t know how to decide. That’s how much I loved it! This is the last recipe video with Mama until I see her again 🥹. I’ve gotten so many questions about my relationship with Mama and Syrian food, so I’m thinking about doing a Q&A video for you. Should I include an Arabic translation too? Let me know in the comments 🫶🏼

Chicken Shawarma Review from this Syrian Restaurant in Sterling Heights, Michigan! 🇸🇾🌯 This was $8 and the it was pretty big. It was from @Pattternz_Syrian_Restaurant_Mi #syrian #syrianfood #michigan #detroit #foodreview
SYRIAN RESTAURANT IN OC?!? 😍 #ocfoodie #syrianfood #syria #orangecounty #anaheim #oceats #ocfood #arabicfood #arab #aleppo 📍 Aleppo’s Kitchen I’m still in shock that I finally found a Syrian restaurant! It was such a special moment to bring Mama and Kenan here—it truly felt like we were hanging out with family. We got to try so many dishes from the menu: three kinds of kibbeh, kibbeh nayeh, hummus, baba ghanoush, shish barak, and even mansaf (a traditionally Jordanian dish). For me, the standout was the yalanji. It was so lemony and flavorful, and the texture of the grape leaves was absolutely perfect. If you have room for dessert, you have to try the pistachio ice cream. It’s made in-house and hands down the best pistachio ice cream I’ve ever tasted. I’m so grateful for Aleppo’s Kitchen. If you’ve ever wanted to explore Syrian food and culture, this is the perfect place to start. I can’t wait to come back—and hopefully learn how to make their yalanji!🤤
