Here’s the process: ✨ Stripped the top with acetone—it melts the finish like butter and keeps the veneer intact. ✨ Cut the legs to standard table height (because functional pieces = quick sales). ✨ Sanded the legs smooth and stained the whole table for a layered, rich look using only the best @Minwax ✨ Sealed it with my most durable topcoat—General Finishes oil based - perfect for high-traffic furniture like this! This is how I save money furnishings my home !! I got this table for free and the top was very damage so I removed the veneer and fortunately there was wood underneath so I sanded it and then I stripped the legs but unfortunately they were not solid wood . It was some type of resin so when the time for the color came I had to painted it in stead of staining . But I used the Same wash I used for the top (ASH WASH ) Woodandhomeaccents.com . Then I sealed with Behr matte polyurethane, sanded in between coats and my table was done !! ________ ASI es como ahorro decorando y amoblando my casa . Encontré esta mesa gratis y como el enchape de la cubierta estaba dañado lo removí y me encontré con la grata sorpresa de que debajo había madera por lo que la lije y la dejé lista para el color . Luego me di cuenta que las patas no eran de madera sino de una resina por lo que no pude hacer un afecto de tinta de madera sino que tuve que pintarlas usando mi ASH WASH En su fórmula concentrada y utilice el mismo color para la cubierta pero en una fórmula disuelta como tinta .
