Hey, y'all! 💖 As someone who has had products, and still does, in major retailers, I truly understand the hurt and disappointment that comes with seeing retailers pull back on DEI initiatives. I wanted to take a moment to share my thoughts on the impact of having my products in stores and what that means to me. From promoting my hair accessories with Goody Tru at Walmart to having a product featured in Target’s Black History Month Collection this year, I’ve seen firsthand how much this exposure has uplifted my brand, art, and my mission of pushing for more Black representation. Whether you choose to fully boycott these stores, selectively shop only Black-owned products, or support through my brand and others through our websites or local stores, I want you to know I fully support your decision. As we witness racial equity progress being challenged, we are all figuring out the best way to move forward. I see you, I appreciate you, and we’ll continue to navigate this journey together. 🫶🏾🖤
