President Trump’s executive orders are so out of touch with the reality of a public school classroom. Teachers and staff work tirelessly to make these rooms and buildings a safe space for every child. We aren’t indoctrinating our students. But we ARE coming to work everyday with the fear of our school being “next”. NONE of these executive orders are doing anything to address gun violence in our schools. The President even dismantled the School Safety Board, the board HE created after Parkland. Our teachers and children deserve better.
