We are 2.5 years into homeschooling now, and this is what we do: 1. We use @The Good and the Beautiful for language arts and math and a little science and history & love it. 2. We go to co-ops. We partake in two and honestly in our area there are TOO many great options. Something for anyone and everyone truly. It’s so wonderful. We attend a hiking nature group and a Charlotte Mason inspired science, art, and music group. 3. We added in awana this year for supplemental Bible study. The kids love memorizing verses. 4. We use outschool for private sewing machine lessons and art lessons. It’s lovely! 5. We do soccer and tennis weekly. 6. We have wonderful tutoring to help with Spanish, math, and LA. 7. We take piano lessons weekly. 8. We read a LOT. We read out loud. We read in the car (not me, ha). I have lots of books available all the time and my kids are voracious readers. 9. We garden and homestead. We cook. We paint in the glasshouse. We have play dates with friends frequently. We go to church. We study the Bible together at night as a family. We especially prioritize time with extended family —-lots of time with grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. We imagine and create and chase chickens and dance party and explore. For our family, we love homeschooling. And as for a specific curriculum, we have loved The Good and The Beautiful for 2.5 years with no plans to change ❤️ Warmly, Melissa
