Shirley hopes you have a fantastic New Year filled with fresh fish! Don't forget to treat yourself to a full set! 💋 This past year was the very first time in my 20-year career as a professional actress that I could support myself with just one job. Transitioning from theatre and TV/film to social media initially made me feel like a fish out of water, but I found my groove, and now I feel like the luckiest gal! I get to party every day like it’s the 80s and create comedy for the kindest, funniest, and most incredible people. I also get to have autonomy over my schedule and my life! I no longer have to deal with people holding clipboards, staring me up and down, and telling me I’m not right for the part. I’m no longer schlepping around in an old car, driving from audition to audition before my waitressing shift, only to not even get the courtesy of an email about whatever role I auditioned for. I also don’t have to spend countless hours filming and editing auditions at home for the same disappointing outcomes. I’m so glad I never bought into the lies this industry feeds those who don’t fit their beauty standards. I’m glad I was stubborn enough not to take “no” for an answer, which led me to find what was truly meant for me! I absolutely love the community we’ve built together, and it’s the privilege of my life to do this with you all. I wish you the best plot twists in 2025! I hope happiness, peace, and love find you wherever you go and in whatever you do—you truly deserve it! Thank you for everything you’ve given me. I love you all! Shine like the stars that you are! ✨️ Love, Casey & The Neon Girls P.S. Maybe it's toxic positivity I suffer from or just pure delusion haha but I haven't started worrying (yet) about this app going away. I am a true girl scout and prepared for anything so find me anywhere else you enjoy watching videos! I'm already there! 🥰💖🩷🩵
