This Mexican lounge is doing a Valentines Day menu that is perfect for a vibey night out ✨ you need @jakococina 🍹 JAKO is the newest addition to GRANDSCAPE and is a Mexican restaurant, bar, and night club 👏🏼 they are doing a special V-day menu that lasts from today-16th and is perfect for a GNO or night out with Bae. The cocktails are truly my favorite part here and obviously had to try the La Playa, the shareable cocktail for 4 off the Valentines menu 😍 it’s a vodka based cocktail, garnished with a rose, and literally tastes like a strawberry! 🍓 And you can’t go wrong with the queso fundito with chorizo or the carnitas dumplings 🥟 but personally one of my favorite Mexican dishes is ceviche and I love how theirs came on dry ice ✨ and cannot skip dessert! Cause all the desserts are 🔥🔥🔥 this is definitely perfect for a vibey night out and you could easily make it a GNO or Date. And on weekends they turn into a nightclub at 10pm playing Latin music. This hotel is right off the canal in Las Colinas and is perfect if you want a relaxing staycation in DFW✨ you need @Hotel Indigo ♥️ Hotel Indigo is a new hotel in Las Colinas. It is perfectly located on the canal and only up the highway from Toyota Music Factory so you have everything at your fingertips. The hotel itself some with a beautiful pool, a coffee shop, and its own Mediterranean restaurant called @kleorestaurant 🐟 which also has its own cocktail bar area. I loved their Blue Spritz, hummus, and the scallops were amazing 😍 but the rooms themselves come with big beds, cozy robes, and a massive and beautiful bathroom. But truly the best part is its location! You are minutes away from the canals, so you can reserve a boat and do a nice dinner. OR head further up the street to Toyota Music factory for casual eats, a movie, or a concert! Did you know you can have brunch in a Speakeasy? 🥞 you need Taipo✨ Taipo is a Nepali, fast casual restaurant in the front and a speakeasy restaurant and cocktail lounge in the back. It definitely has a dark, moody interior with some very killer cocktails 🍹 they recently launched a brunch menu about 2 weeks ago that includes classics like mimosa carafes for $25 and a small brunch menu (about 4 items) + you can still choose from their full dinner menu + full cocktail menu 👏🏼 I opted for brunch and tried the chicken & waffles with French fries and seriously devoured the fries cause they were golden and crispy and I loved the sauce it came with 🔥 but my favorite was French toast that came with blueberry compote and again was a bit crispy and sweet. So good 😍 and obviously I have to try a cocktail, the s’mores espresso martini was good with melted marshmallow fluff and crushed graham crackers. But my favorite was the Smoked Old Fashioned made with Japanese whiskey and lit on fire in front of you.
