So, I purchased Cooper Alan tickets back in December. I didn’t see anywhere on the ticket site that there would be anyone else on board the Cooper Alan train. This morning, I decided to hop on the webpage where the concert itself will be held. Then, there it was, “w/Thomas Mac.” I’m not gonna lie. I had to move my phone a wee bit closer to my face so I could ensure that I was reading it correctly. Just a couple weeks ago, I was telling one of my kids that it would be the best dang concert ever if it were Cooper Alan and Thomas Mac together. Just watching their mashups, duets, and shenanigans in general has just been pretty awesome to watch from the sidelines. I love all types of music genres, but my favorite type of music is anything that tells a story. When it tells a story, it feeds the soul. In todays music realm, there’s a lot of music to choose from. Today, there’s not many artists that you can listen to on a daily basis. No matter what mood you’re in, there’s almost always going to be artists that you’ll want to stay away from for a little bit bc it might trigger an emotional response that you may or may not need in that moment. I have an “exceptions” playlist on Spotify that consists of artists that I can listen to on a daily basis. That no matter how I’m feeling on any given day, those artists bring only the good vibes to the music table. Cooper Alan and Thomas Mac are two of the select few artists on that exceptions playlist. So, I’m beyond excited to have the opportunity to see them both in concert on the stage together.
