February is already starting off strong! Right at the turn of the Lunar New Year, @Hotpot palace & BBQ has opened its doors, offering not only your hotpot fix but BBQ as well! 🍲 Hotpot Palace is conveniently located right off Highway 99 in Tigard. This hotpot spot sets itself apart from others in the city by allowing you to grab ingredients like a traditional buffet. They offer a variety of meats, seafood, vegetables, and more. I was so surprised to find choices like crab, wagyu beef, oysters, and enoki mushrooms! You can also enjoy the fun of cooking your food in one of their ten soup bases or on the tabletop grill. Initially, I thought the BBQ aspect was a lil’ gimmicky, but some of the meats turned out really well! I’m just so excited to have another hotpot spot in the Portland area! Peruvian cuisine has quickly become one of my favorites, but there aren’t many places in Portland that specialize in it. Fortunately, Mi Pisco opened off Highway 99 in Tigard about a year ago, and they’re already gaining recognition for their authentic Peruvian dishes. 🇵🇪 Thank you to Mi Pisco for inviting me and gifting me this meal! #gifted Mi Pisco is a vibrant and lively spot, perfect for a fun night out. On Friday and Saturday nights, you can even enjoy live music! Their extensive menu showcases a variety of traditional dishes, including one of my favorites—Chifa, or Chinese-Peruvian cuisine. They also have an entire section dedicated to ceviche, along with empanadas, anticuchos, and classic Peruvian dishes like Lomo Saltado and Arroz Chaufa.
