“writing a long description gets more views” my ass. ive been neglecting social media because its draining and hard: Artists understand this point. You get popular on social media through small, consumable content meant to be funny or relatable. Just posting your art on its own doesnt stand much of a chance. the thing is, i dont and didnt mind making short form content. its just a lot more work than showing things i love that ive made. Truly, to all my mutuals, i am so grafeful to you all and this journey ive had. its been wonderful to watch you all grow. Please, if you wanna remain in some form of contact, this video is for you. I’m not asking all my followers to suddenly follow me on different platforms. I know most of you all followed me because my videos were either funny or relatable in some way, but this is how my account likely ends. You will find me on different platforms. I’ll always be under the name ‘tofu’ and my actual name, Simon. I plan on using the following for so: Instagram - Posting my full art compositions, wips, commissions, etc. Just showing off what ive made so people can enjoy looking at it. I may, MAY make reels (lol), but i dont plan on it. Maybe some funny animatics too. Youtube is my tutorial area and dump for video projects: i really like those timelapse videos where artists talk about things. i havent figured out what i want to talk about yet, but it’s something i’d like to do. Discord is for communicating. I’m thinking of maybe making a server for friends/mutuals to be on, but i dont think many people would be interested. Anyway, this has been a really long rant, 1615 letters actually. But yeah. Youre all great. Thanks, if anyone read this all.
